So it seems that one of the brands I’ve been keen to purchase from for quite some time now has added another reason to make a purchase. Orange Amps has added custom shop guitars to its catalogue.
The guitar features a single cutaway in a body shape that won’t be unfamiliar to many a guitar lover. It’s still unique enough to stand out in my opinion. I like that. There are two pickup options to choose from—Filtertrons or Staple Alnico Soapbar P90s. There are finish options to choose from, but the launch model is a nice looking two-tone gold and ivory finish. I’m not hating that at all.
The rest of the features are:
- Ebony fretboard (22 frets)
- Grover tuners
- Chessboard nitro binding
- Tune-o-matic bridge
- Stop bar tailpiece (they wrap the strings which I love the look of).
The guitar is hand made in England and comes with a hard case. It really does look nice.
I seriously need to add this brand to my own guitar fascination collection.
