If you’re anything like me, you love playing guitar. When it comes to something like pickup installation though, you generally rely on the services of others. I’d like to say “I have people for that”, but I’d be lying. Now you can learn how to install pickups yourself!

According to the course website, you should be able to swap out your own pickups in 2-3 hours. That’s an impressive thought. It does make me wonder “Why have I not done this before?”
I know my own answer. I’m lazy.
If I’m going to be honest, I also lack the knowledge to consider attempting pickup installation on my own. Having this resource is a game-changer though. Learning pickup installation from one of the biggest names in the guitar pickup world makes perfect sense. If Seymour Duncan can’t explain the pickup installation process to me, nobody can.
I’ve signed up. I hope to go through the learnings and apply the lessons to one of my own guitars in the coming year. There’s plenty to do. This is definitely on the list of things to do.
