It’s been a while since I posted an article featuring one of my favourite guitar play through videos. So, in an attempt to get back into the sharing of videos from guitarists who inspire and amaze me, I figured I should start with Hellana Pandora.
Recently, I shared a guitar play through by Chris Wiseman from the band Shadow of Intent. Today, I share a guitar play through video of Chris Wiseman from the band Currents. It’s the same Chris Wiseman. He’s that good.
It’s been a long time since I shared a guitar playthrough video here and I need to fix that. What better way to rebuild this series than with a guitar playthrough that builds at an exceptional rate. The way Chris Wiseman takes this track on a journey is a masterclass in composition.
It’s been a long time since I added a guitar play through video to my guitar play through article series. I’ve still been watching them and loving them, I just haven’t posted about them. Sadly, recent events have reminded me of one of my favourite guitar play through videos—Above my Head by Polaris.
What could be better than another guitar play through video? How about a video shot inside a warehouse where the awesome Seymour Duncan pickups are manufactured. Yep. That should do it.
I’m not sure how many entries I’ll end up having in this guitar play through series, but I know it can’t end without a video by Andy James. I’ve been a fan of Andy’s guitar playing for years. Hopefully, this example helps explains why.
When I first started writing this series of YouTube guitar play through videos that I’d come across, there was one video that made me think of the series concept. That video was for the ERRA track Snowblood by Jesse Cash.
